  • Sales

 All of our pieces are vintage and have lived colourful lives. We conduct repairs and tasteful restoration, however small imperfections and signs of use may remain. We aim to accurately describe the condition of each item in both the listing photos and description – please study these before purchasing.

All sales are final and we do not accept returns due to change of mind. In the event that your item presents with a major fault not advertised, we offer a full refund once the item is returned to us in ‘as sold’ condition.

Electrical items are tested and inspected for damage but are sold on an ‘as found’ basis – no warranty or electrical certification is provided.

  • Pickup

Purchases are available for collection from Jannali 7 days a week. Due to limited space pickup is required within 7 days from date of purchase. Items not collected within 7 days will incur a storage fee of $10 per day per item until collected.

  • Delivery

Delivery is available Australia-wide. For those Sydney based, the delivery quote will be provided during checkout.

We use trusted and reliable regional NSW and interstate couriers who provide a great service at a good price. Interstate shipping fees are located in the shipping tab at the main menu. 

As this is a third-party service, you must be able to reasonably take delivery at the date/time stipulated by the courier.

  • Pre-Orders

Some vintage items are one-off and bespoke, others are makes/models that we stock on a regular basis. If your desired item is sold out, feel free to inquire about a pre-order, as we have multiple unrestored pieces awaiting restoration.

All pre-orders require a 20% deposit. This deposit is only refundable in the event that the piece cannot be restored back to an expected level of finish as discussed with us when placing the order. We aim to complete pre-orders within 14 days.

  • Furniture Hire

Furniture hire is possible. Please send us an email with the desired item, timeframe and location.

  • Security and Privacy

Retro Bay only uses your personal information to enable payment and delivery of your purchases, and does not sell, loan or rent your data to anyone else. Online payments are kept secure via Shopify’s secure payment gateway.
