A sought-after piece, this Morris of Glasgow sideboard, dating from the 1960s, represents some of the finest British furniture design of the mid-century period. Morris of Glasgow is one of the more respected British mid-century manufacturers.

Crafted in a striking combination of Zebrano and walnut, the sideboard showcases the distinctive beauty of Zebrano timber, prized for its dramatic striped grain and bold visual character. Rich walnut framing and detailing provide warmth and contrast, accentuating the clean architectural lines and elegant proportions synonymous with the era.

Internally, the sideboard offers excellent storage options. The left-hand section features a spacious cupboard fitted with adjustable and removable shelving, while the right-hand section houses a practical drop-front cocktail cabinet, ideal for storing drinks and barware.

This piece presents in excellent condition and has been professionally refinished with Osmo Hardwax Oil, enhancing the natural beauty of the timber while providing a durable, hard-wearing finish.

Please note that for anything other than small items assistance will be required by you (or a friend!) to unload at the destination. Up to 3 flights of stairs included in the price.

Regional NSW and Interstate Shipping.

Shipping to locations outside of Sydney (Central Coast, Blue Mountains, Wollongong and beyond) and Interstate is outsourced to trusted third party couriers. Freight charges are often similar regardless of distance as it is worked out by cubic space in the truck, rather than final destination. Delivery can take between 1 – 3 weeks.
