An exceptional and increasingly hard-to-find Rifka lounge suite by Danish Deluxe, one of Australia's most celebrated mid-century furniture makers. Designed and manufactured in Sydney during the 1960s and 1970s, Danish Deluxe became renowned for combining Scandinavian-inspired design with outstanding Australian craftsmanship. Today, their original pieces remain highly sought after for their sculptural timber frames, comfort and timeless aesthetic.
This impressive four-piece suite comprises two matching two-seater sofas and two matching armchairs, creating a substantial and versatile seating arrangement that is rarely found complete.
The beautifully sculpted solid Tasmanian Blackwood frames have been lightly sanded and nourished with Danish Oil, enhancing the natural warmth of the timber while preserving its authentic character. Subtle colour variation remains, adding to the originality and history of the timber.
