A beautifully preserved Australian-made La Fay lounge suite circa 1970s Queensland in original green velvet upholstery. A three piece suite with two matching two-seater lounges and a matching armchair. Renowned for exceptional comfort and quality craftsmanship, La Fay furniture was built to last and remains highly regarded for its generous proportions and supportive seating.
This suite retains its original olive green velour upholstery, which presents in outstanding vintage condition with no significant colour variation from the sun, no rips, marks or stains. The cushions remain firm, supportive and incredibly comfortable, ready to be re-strapped for their new owner.
The solid timber frames have been professionally refreshed with Danish Oil, highlighting the warmth and character of the timber while preserving its authentic mid-century appeal. Structurally excellent throughout, this is a quality Australian-made suite that has been exceptionally well cared for.
With its bold brutalist influences, rich timber frame and timeless olive green upholstery, this La Fay suite is a striking example of Australian mid-century design. Increasingly difficult to find in such original condition, it offers the perfect balance of comfort, craftsmanship and style.

We offer courier services within Sydney from $100 - $150 depending on your distance from the showroom. We have a Saturday morning delivery service. Simply input your postcode at checkout. This is a flat fee – the same cost applies for one or multiple items. Delivery will be scheduled for 1 – 7 days post purchase. Please note that for anything other than small items assistance will be required by you (or a friend!) to unload at the destination. Up to 3 flights of stairs included in the price.
- Regional NSW and Interstate Shipping.
Shipping to locations outside of Sydney (Central Coast, Blue Mountains, Wollongong and beyond) and Interstate is outsourced to trusted third party couriers. Freight charges are often similar regardless of distance as it is worked out by cubic space in the truck, rather than final destination. Delivery can take between 1 – 3 weeks.
Wollongong, Canberra, Melbourne, Newcastle and Brisbane/Gold Coast, Perth, SA, North QLD, and Tasmania costs can be automatically calculated via our checkout. For regional areas contact us for a more a quote.
All items are covered under the third-party courier’s insurance.
