Rare Dutch Mid-Century teak sideboard, attributed to Rudolf Bernd Glatzel for Fristho Franeker, circa 1960s. Documented Glatzel designs for Fristho feature the same clean teak cabinetry, four-drawer configuration and recessed square handles.

This smaller-format version features four drawers alongside two cupboard doors with internal shelving. Finished with simple recessed timber handles and raised on a solid teak base and legs.

The piece has been fully refinished with Osmo Hard Wax Oil and presents in excellent condition. Light signs of age slight lifting of the veneer on the top right side of the top face and other minor imperfections remain consistent with its vintage.

A quality European Mid-Century piece with excellent storage and a more versatile footprint than the larger Glatzel sideboards commonly seen.

We offer courier services within Sydney from $100 - $150 depending on your distance from the showroom. We have a Saturday morning delivery service. Simply input your postcode at checkout. This is a flat fee – the same cost applies for one or multiple items. Delivery will be scheduled for 1 – 7 days post purchase. Please note that for anything other than small items assistance will be required by you (or a friend!) to unload at the destination. Up to 3 flights of stairs included in the price.

  • Regional NSW and Interstate Shipping. 

Shipping to locations outside of Sydney (Central Coast, Blue Mountains, Wollongong and beyond) and Interstate is outsourced to trusted third party couriers. Freight charges are often similar regardless of distance as it is worked out by cubic space in the truck, rather than final destination. Delivery can take between 1 – 3 weeks. 

Wollongong, Canberra, Melbourne, Newcastle and Brisbane/Gold Coast, Perth, SA, North QLD,  and Tasmania costs can be automatically calculated via our checkout.  For regional areas contact us for a more a quote.

All items are covered under the third-party courier’s insurance.
